In this publication, AEquitas created a model approach to the prosecution of sexual assault cases and measures to evaluate current practices. Volume I is divided in two parts and is intended for policy creators and prosecutors. The first part of Volume I provides information and tools to evaluate current prosecution practices and identify challenges. The second part is intended for prosecutors handling cases of sexual violence. It includes skills and tools to achieve positive outcomes at every stage of prosecution, from initial case review through final disposition and sentencing.
