The California District Attorneys Association and the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention collaborated and created this first ever manual on the investigation and prosecution of strangulation cases. This manual discusses strangulation cases and how they require a specialized investigation and multi-disciplinary team. The earlier investigators can intervene and stop a domestic violence strangulation case, the higher the likelihood a life is saved.
