Publication Date: Jan 2023

In these session recordings, LETTAC trainers—Chief David Ryan (retired) and licensed mental health counselor Courtney W. Albert, LMHC, MEd, MA—outline the fundamentals of these overlapping crimes; underscore why it’s important to partner law enforcement and advocates at the earliest stages (even co-learning during this webinar series); demonstrate how to uncover these overlapping crimes during calls for service and screening; and spotlight how to effectively, compassionately, holistically serve and support survivors of these intersecting crimes.

  • Session 1: Intersectionality and the Importance of a Multidisciplinary Approach
  • Session 2: Complexity in Identification and Victim Disclosure
  • Session 3: Trauma-Informed Screening, Interviewing, Survivor Support, and Collaboration

Please note the series builds knowledge progressively through the sessions.
